🔥 FIRE ON THE FIELD & LEGACY IN THE AIR

Week 3 of the Spring 7v7 Championship Series was nothing short of electric. As teams hit midseason stride, we saw offensive fireworks, lockdown defense, and breakout performances across every division. But what made this weekend truly special wasn’t just the football—it was the anticipation of what’s to come: Father’s Day Weekend at Glenmore Athletic Park, now officially known as...

🏆 THE LEGACY CUP

Coach Keon and the Big Time team are bringing a special twist to next week’s action, creating a family-first atmosphere full of football, community, and celebration. But before we look ahead, let’s dive into the action from this past weekend.

💪 12U DIVISION – HAWKEYES SOAR BEHIND MACINTOSH & MEANY

The 12U division kicked things off hot, and no one had a bigger day than QB Josh Macintosh of the SW Hawkeyes. M

acintosh connected with Nash Meany for four touchdowns, adding clutch extra-point conversions that proved critical. He also found his reliable target Jackson Allen for some chain-moving gains, helping the Hawkeyes cruise to a perfect 3-0 record on the day.

Meanwhile, the Buckeyes fought hard and managed to finish 1-2, while the Blue Raiders had a tough day, dropping both of their games. But as we’ve seen all spring, every team has a chance to bounce back.

Keep an eye on Meany and Macintosh—they’re heating up at just the right time.

🔥 15U DIVISION – TROJANS STAY STRONG, RED RAIDERS REMIND EVERYONE WHO’S BOSS

The SW Trojans continue to look like one of the most well-rounded teams in the 15U bracket, powered by quarterback Sam Armstrong who connected consistently with Adrian Ayoub and Deghlan Bowness throughout the day. The Trojans went 2-1, with their only loss coming in a high-intensity crossover against the Red Raiders.

And speaking of the Raiders…

The Red Raiders are back. After a mixed Week 2, they responded like champions, going 3-0 on the weekend. The highlight? A walk-off touchdown from Marshall Diggens to Tyler Frisch in the back corner of the endzone. It was a toe-tapping grab that lit up the sidelines and reminded everyone why this duo is one of the most dangerous in the league.

🧱 10U DIVISION – STONE AND COOL LOCK IT DOWN, GATORS FIND A MOMENT TO REMEMBER

The Jr. Blue Raiders’ defense once again made headlines, with Eli Stone notching an incredible 7 interceptions on the season. Not far behind was Beckett Cool, who added 5 picks of his own. Their instincts and ball skills continue to dominate headlines week after week.

But the moment of the day belonged to the Jr. Gators.

Nathan Law threw his first-ever touchdown pass, a 40-yard strike to Bennett Perizzolo, who made his first career touchdown catch in stride.

The sidelines erupted in cheers—a moment neither player (nor their families) will ever forget.

This is what youth football is all about.

🎉 THE LEGACY CUP – COMING THIS WEEKEND

In honor of Father’s Day, Week 4 of the Spring 7v7 Championship has been officially rebranded as The Legacy Cup—a celebration of family, football, and generational impact.

🏈 Top two teams in each division will square off in a Legacy Game finale 🌭 Family Cookout on-site at Glenmore Athletic Park 🪑 Families are encouraged to bring tents, BBQs, lawn chairs, and coolers

It’s more than just football—it’s a vibe.

Sure! Here's a short and special write-up you can feature in the Spring 7v7 Magazine under a Father’s Day Legacy Cupsection:

💼 Father’s Day & The Legacy Cup

Carrying the Legacy. Sharing the Legacy.

Father’s Day isn’t just a moment to say thank you—it’s a time to honor the men who’ve shaped us, stood by us, and passed on lessons that reach far beyond the game.

The Legacy Cup is more than a tournament. It’s a celebration of the bond between generations—a father’s belief, a coach’s guidance, a grandfather’s wisdom. Every snap, every cheer, and every high five on the sideline carries a story. A legacy.

On this special weekend, we don’t just play for points—we play for purpose. We honor the fathers, father-figures, and mentors who pour into their kids and communities.

Because football is family. And legacy… is meant to be shared.

*Note: With HS school having Spring Camp and Jamborees/ HS Divison will NOT play this weekend. Play will resume for Championship Saurday June 21st.
