G-Elite Flag Football Academy

Service Description

The **G Elite Flag Football Academy** is a high-performance athlete development program designed to prepare young female athletes for the next level of flag football. Our goal is to develop complete athletes who are stronger, faster, smarter, more confident, and prepared to compete against the best competition in Canada and the United States. Academy athletes train year-round in an environment focused on **player development, competition, leadership, and opportunity**. Training includes position-specific flag football instruction, offensive and defensive concepts, speed and agility development, strength and weight training, mobility, conditioning, and injury prevention. Athletes also participate in film study and classroom sessions designed to improve football IQ, game awareness, decision-making, situational football, and their understanding of offensive and defensive systems. A major focus of the Academy is preparing athletes for provincial, national, and elite North American tournaments. Players learn how to prepare like high-performance athletes, compete under pressure, communicate effectively, become great teammates, and develop the habits required to perform at a championship level. As opportunities in women's flag football continue to grow, G Elite is committed to helping athletes understand and navigate the **university recruiting process**. Academy athletes will receive recruiting assistance that may include player evaluations, highlight film guidance, athlete profiles, communication with university coaches, recruiting education, and support identifying programs that fit their academic and athletic goals. During select tournament travel, G Elite will also look to organize **university and college visits**, giving athletes an opportunity to experience campuses, learn about athletic programs, meet coaches when available, and better understand what it takes to become a university student-athlete. Our vision extends beyond winning games. We want G Elite athletes to leave the Academy with greater confidence, discipline, leadership skills, football knowledge, and a clear understanding of the opportunities available to them.
